Engineers Forum

Padma Pukur Road is a well-known spot in Kolkata, and that’s where you’ll find the Engineers Forum at number 11. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the humid summers. We don't have a shiny modern office. Our rooms are filled with old books, rolls of tracing paper, and a lot of memories. We call it a forum because we like to sit down and actually discuss the problems we're trying to solve. It’s not just one person giving orders. We argue about the best way to handle a structural issue or a drainage problem over cups of coffee. Kolkata is a city where things break often, so there is always something for us to look at. We walk a lot, checking out sites around the 700092 area. Our schedules are never really fixed. One day we might be at the desk all day, and the next we’re out in the mud. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just show the work we've done and let people decide. It's an honest way to work, and we've been doing it this way for quite some time now. We just take it one project at a time and try to make sure everything stays standing despite the rains.
