Electrofabric Engg

Electrofabric Engg is situated at 259 Rai Bahadur Road in the New Alipur area. It’s a decent-sized spot but it feels smaller because of all the equipment we have crammed inside. We do a mix of electrical work and metal fabrication, which is why the name is what it is. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of the grinding and the metal scraps, but that’s just part of the job. New Alipur is a busy part of the city, and our shop sees a lot of action throughout the week. You can usually hear the sound of welding or metal being cut if you walk past our doors. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by the workbench and the heavy machines we use for our daily tasks. The walls have calendars and old notes pinned up everywhere. We’ve been working from this Rai Bahadur Road address for a long time. Our regulars know that they can just drop in and show us what they need fixed or built. We don't use any complicated software to track things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and our memory. It's a very hands-on way of doing things. Some days are slow, but most of the time there’s a pile of work waiting for us when we open up in the morning. We just take it one job at a time and try to get things right.
