Ecoline Exim Pvt. Ltd. is based at No. 8 G. C. Ghosh Road. We've been here for quite some time now, and the office has seen better days, but it works for us. We handle a lot of export and import stuff, mostly paperwork and making sure things get where they need to go. It’s a bit of a small operation, just a few of us at our desks. The street outside, G. C. Ghosh Road, can get really noisy with all the trucks and people passing by. Sometimes it’s hard to hear on the phone, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re right there. We spend our days mostly talking to shipping agents and checking on orders. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it keeps the lights on. We try to be helpful when someone calls with a question. We don't really do much advertising; most people find us because they know someone we've worked with before. There's always a stack of files on my desk that needs sorting through. We take our lunch breaks together when it's not too busy. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We’re just here doing our bit every day, trying to keep the records straight and the customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it.
