We deal with GE medical equipment here in Kolkata. My team works out of the office near Battala More, right by Sarsuna. It’s an old neighborhood and we have been here a while. We spend most of our time traveling to different clinics and hospitals to check on machines. It gets busy. People usually call us when something isn't working right or they need a part replaced. We aren't a big fancy operation, just a small group of technicians and staff making sure the gear runs okay. The office is easy to find if you know the landmark. We keep a lot of logs and paperwork because healthcare stuff needs to be documented properly. Sometimes we stay late when a machine at a hospital breaks down unexpectedly. It’s a lot of technical work, but we are used to it by now. The humidity here in Kolkata can be tough on the electronics, so we are always reminding people to keep things cool. We just focus on the daily tasks, answering the phone, and getting the jobs done as they come in. Nothing too complicated, just regular work for the community hospitals around here. We’ve known some of these doctors for many years now and they just give us a call directly.
