We are located at 12 Pretoria Street in the Elgin area. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that classic look to it. We have been operating as Eastern Equipment & Engineers for a long time. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have been here since the beginning. We handle engineering equipment, which means we spend a lot of time looking at technical specs and talking to manufacturers. Pretoria Street is usually quite busy, but inside the office, it is relatively quiet. We have a small team of people who have mostly been with us for years. We don't really go for modern marketing or social media stuff. Most of our clients are people we have known for decades. The work is steady and requires a lot of attention to detail. Sometimes the old building has its issues, like a leaky pipe or a flickering light, but we just fix it and move on. It’s a professional environment but without the corporate polish you see in the newer office parks. We take pride in just being reliable and showing up every day. There is a nice little park nearby where we sometimes go for a walk during lunch. It’s a good place to be based, right in the heart of Elgin. We like the neighborhood.
