Our place is over in Maheshtala, specifically in the Shibtala area. It’s under Eastern Engineers I Pvt Ltd. The address is 700141 if you’re looking at a map. It’s a bit outside the main rush of Kolkata, which is nice sometimes, though the roads can be a bit rough after it rains. We have a small setup here. It’s mostly about engineering work, so there are always tools and bits of metal lying around the workshop floor. We have been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we can focus. Usually, we start early in the morning before it gets too hot. Maheshtala has its own pace, a bit slower than the city center, which suits the kind of detailed work we do. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure things are put together right. Sometimes we have a bit of trouble with the delivery trucks finding the exact lane, but we usually just walk out to the main road to show them the way. It’s a straightforward life here. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just fixing and building things that people need. Every day is pretty much the same, with a lot of manual work and some paperwork to finish before heading home.
