Our office is over on K.B. Sarani in the Dumdum area of Kolkata. If you know the neighborhood, you know it’s a busy spot with a lot of history. EAST INDIA BUILDCON LLP has its base here at 19/67/C-1. It’s not a shiny new building or anything, just a solid place where we can get our work done. We focus on building projects around the city. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a lot of phone calls. We aren’t corporate types who sit in glass offices all day. Usually, we are out checking on things or talking to the guys on the ground. The office is really just where we handle the legal stuff and the planning. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and maps, but that’s how we like it. It shows we’re actually working. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just want to build things that people can actually use. Sometimes things go wrong, and we have to fix them. That’s the reality of construction. We’ve been in Dumdum for a while now and feel like we’re part of the local scene. It’s a loud, vibrant part of town, and we’re happy to be here. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our projects moving along as best we can.
