Dwarika Textile Private Limited

Our office is tucked away in Room 52 on the second floor of Sarvamangala Properties. If you know Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarani, you know it’s one of those busy Kolkata streets where something is always happening. Dwarika Textile has been running from this spot for a long time. It’s not a large place, just enough room for our desks and piles of fabric samples that seem to grow every week. The building itself is older, and the hallways can be a bit dark, but once you get inside our room, it’s just us working through the daily orders. We don't really have a big team or a corporate structure. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us handling the phones and making sure the accounts are up to date. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the heat away. We deal with all sorts of textiles, mostly for local shops and traders who’ve known us for years. It gets pretty chaotic during the festival seasons when everyone wants their stock at the same time. We usually have tea delivered from the stall downstairs twice a day, which is when we actually stop to breathe. It’s a very practical way of living. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or marketing because people around here already know where we are. It’s just a steady, everyday business in the heart of the city, keeping things moving.
