Dvk Constructions Private Limited is located right in the heart of Kolkata, specifically at Room No. 3049 on the third floor of the Mercantile Building. Lal Bazar Street is always loud and full of people, and our office in Block 3 is no different. We’ve been handling construction work around here for quite a while. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our door, but we like being in this part of the city. We do all sorts of building jobs, some big and some small. There are usually three or four of us in the office at any time, usually looking over blue prints or arguing about costs. Construction is a tough trade and there is always something that needs fixing or a permit that needs waiting on. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen our trucks around West Bengal. We try to be honest about how long things take. Sometimes we get behind schedule because of the weather or something else we can't control, but we always finish what we start. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We've got a lot of old files in the cabinets from projects we did years ago. We just keep plugging away at it, day after day, from our little corner on Lal Bazar Street.
