Dow Chemicals is tucked away at 20C 5 Dpp Road, specifically in the Baishnabghata Byelane in Garia. Kolkata 47 is a place with a lot of character, and our street is no different. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here, but once you get into the byelane, it’s a quiet enough spot. We’ve been operating from this address for years. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on Dpp Road. We like it that way. It’s a small operation, and we don’t feel the need for a big glass building in the center of the city. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to people who have been coming to us for a long time. There’s a certain pace to life in Garia that we’ve grown to appreciate. We aren't interested in using big words or making ourselves sound more important than we are. We just provide what we can from our little office in the byelane. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the road a bit difficult, but we still show up and do the work. It’s a very local feel here. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us drinking tea and going through the ledgers. That’s just how we do things at 20C 5 Dpp Road. We aren't looking to move anywhere else anytime soon.
