Dinesh Gupta

I am Dinesh Gupta and I operate out of Block Md 20, Unit Number 4. This is over in the New Settlement area near the Jagannathtemple in Kharagpur. It’s a bit of a long address to say, but it’s a quiet enough spot in West Midnapur for me to work. Being near the temple means things stay pretty peaceful most of the time. I’ve been here in Kharagpur for many years now and I know the area well. The office is small but it works for what I need to get done. I don’t believe in having a lot of extra stuff I don't use every day. I keep my tools and my papers in order and that’s plenty for me. Most of the people who come by are from the local neighborhood. We all know each other around here. It’s not like the big city where nobody talks to their neighbors. I like the pace of life in West Bengal. It’s steady and predictable. I start my day early and finish when the work is done. There aren't any corporate managers breathing down my neck. I just run my own thing my own way. If there is a problem with something, I fix it. If someone needs something, I do my best to provide it for them. It’s a simple, local business. No frills and no big promises that I can't keep. Just a man working in his unit near the temple. That’s the reality of it.
