Ultadanga is a place with a lot of character, and that is where you will find us. Our office is tucked away in the CIT Scheme VIIIM area, specifically at P19E. We are on one of the floors, A 1 4, and it is a typical Kolkata setup. The building has that older style which we actually quite like. It is not like the new glass boxes you see in Salt Lake. Around here, things move at their own pace. There is always a bit of chatter from the neighbors and the sound of the city filtering through the windows. The rooms are a bit high-ceilinged and keep relatively cool, even when the humidity kicks in during the summer months. We have our desks lined up, and there is always a stack of folders somewhere that needs sorting. We do not spend much on decorations because we are mostly busy with the actual tasks at hand. It is a functional space. Getting here involves navigating some of the busy Kolkata streets, but once you are inside, it feels like our own little corner. We have a routine that involves a lot of tea and steady work. It is just how we operate out of this part of town. The address might sound a bit complicated on paper, but for us, it is just where we go every morning to start the day. It is a simple life and we are happy with the arrangement we have.
