Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu

We are over at Flat 1G East Sapuipara in the Bally area of Howrah. It’s a bit outside the main noise of Kolkata, which some of us really prefer. The office is part of a regular residential block, so it’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu name specifically. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing with accounts and business papers. The space isn’t huge, but it fits the team we have perfectly. Most mornings start with checking the mail and getting the computers fired up. It’s a lot of quiet work, mostly just people staring at numbers or talking quietly on the phone to clients. We don’t have any big corporate signs or a receptionist waiting at the front. You just come in and find whoever you’re looking for. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s pretty calm during the day. Sometimes we grab food from the local shops nearby for lunch. It’s a straightforward way to work. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. We just help people with their financial stuff and make sure the records are in order. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we keep the office clean enough to be comfortable. It’s just a normal spot where we get our work done and head home to our families in the evening.
