Our office, Deep Pal Consultancy Pvt Ltd, is tucked away in Bagha Jatin Colony in Kolkata. The exact address is 37 2, and it’s a typical neighborhood setting. We aren't in one of those huge glass towers downtown. Instead, we work out of a building that feels like part of the community here in the 700032 area. Every morning, we unlock the shutters and start going through the files. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks. People come to us when they need help with various documents or advice on how to handle their business stuff. Kolkata is a busy city, and Bagha Jatin can be quite loud with the traffic and the people walking by. Inside, we just have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a few chairs for visitors. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. Sometimes we are out visiting clients, and other times we are stuck here typing away. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the work at hand. It’s a practical space. We’ve been in this colony for a good bit now.
