The shop is right here at 114/1 Canal Street. It’s a bit of a walk if you’re coming from the main part of Lacktown, but most people find us okay. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, surrounded by all these art supplies and craft items. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the boxes and papers lying around, but that’s just how an art shop usually looks when people are actually working. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter or helping someone pick out the right kind of paint. We have brushes, canvases, and all those small things you need for a project. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep what people ask for. Sometimes the traffic on Canal Street is loud, but inside it’s mostly just us. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know a lot of the faces that come through the door. It isn't anything fancy, just a local spot for folks who like making things. We open up early and stay until the evening. If you’re looking for a specific bead or a certain type of paper, we might have it tucked away somewhere. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others keeping things organized. People drop by to chat or just to see what’s new on the shelves. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, but it keeps us busy every day.
