Debson Brothers

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road is a long street, and we’re located at 142/4. Debson Brothers has been a family thing for as long as I can remember. It started with the older generation and now we’re the ones keeping it going. The building is an older style, with thick walls that keep it relatively cool in the summer, which is a blessing. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few people who have been with us for years. They’re like family too, honestly. We handle various goods and trade, so the inventory changes depending on the month. One day the back room might be full of crates, and the next it’s empty. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. We don’t use any of those complicated management programs. A pen and a thick notebook do the job just fine for us. There’s a small desk in the corner where we sit to have our lunch and talk about how the day is going. It’s not a high-pressure environment, though we do get our busy rushes when everyone seems to want something at the same time. We don’t go in for big marketing plans. People in the neighborhood know where we are if they need us. We just try to be honest and get the orders right. It’s a simple life on a busy road, and we wouldn't change it.
