Das Engineering & Refrigeration is situated at No. 15B, B.K. Pal Avenue. If you are looking for us, the best way is to find the Power House nearby; we are just a short walk from there. Our shop is a bit of an old-school place where we handle all kinds of engineering and cooling repairs. We have a lot of tools and parts scattered around the floor, and there is usually something being taken apart or put back together. It’s not the cleanest shop in the world, but it’s where we do our best work. There are three of us who work here full-time, and we’ve all been in the trade for years. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big sign outside, just the name of the business and our phone number. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. We spend our days mostly working with our hands, fixing compressors or welding parts. The avenue is usually quite busy, and there’s always the sound of horns and people talking outside. We take a break in the afternoon to have some tea and snacks from the shop next door. It’s a steady kind of life, and we don't ask for much more than that. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get it done right.
