You can find us over at 10 Ballygunge Gardens in Kolkata. Dalmia Consumer Care has been based in this spot for quite some time. It’s a nice area with a lot of greenery and old buildings that have a lot of character. Our office feels more like an old house than a modern business center. The ceilings are high and the fans spin slowly all day long. We spend most of our time dealing with the various products and making sure everything is moving along as it should. It’s not a fast-paced, stressful environment. We like to take our time and do things the right way. Usually, we have a long lunch break where we talk about local news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don't really do any big marketing campaigns from this office. Most of the work is just keeping track of things and talking to our distributors. The rain in Kolkata can be quite heavy, so we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times over the years. We keep a few umbrellas by the door just in case. It’s a comfortable place to work and we’ve all become good friends over the years. We don't have any fancy titles or strict rules about what to wear. We just show up and do what needs to be done. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some people, but it works for us and we enjoy the quiet pace of Ballygunge.
