D D Consultant is located in Sree Colony, which is a part of Kolkata 92 that feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a business district. We are at 196D 1, and we share the space, or are listed as C O Dcpal 2. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s quieter than the main roads. The building is an older one, and the room we use has high ceilings and a heavy door. We’ve got some old wooden cupboards where we keep everything organized. It’s not a place with a lot of fancy technology or modern decor. We have a few chairs for when people stop by to talk. The walk from the main road is nice, especially when the weather isn't too humid. Kolkata has a way of staying the same in some pockets, and this colony is one of them. We’ve been working from here for a while and have gotten to know the people who live nearby. There is a small tea shop just around the corner that we go to at least twice a day. Our work is mostly quiet, involving a lot of reading and writing. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us making sure things get done. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day, even if the walls are a bit stained from the rain over the years.
