We are CSM DEVELOPERS LLP. Our office is tucked away on the second floor at 67 Sridhar Roy Road here in Kolkata. If you know the area, it’s a busy spot around the 700039 zip code. We spend most of our days dealing with the paperwork and the actual physical work that comes with being developers. It's not always glamorous. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we just walk up the stairs. We’ve been at this for a while now. Most of us grew up around these streets, so we know how things work in this part of town. The office isn't huge, but it fits the desks and the files we need. Usually, there’s a tea stall nearby where we grab a drink during breaks. We focus on getting the projects done without making too much of a fuss. People ask what we do exactly, and mostly it's just coordinating with laborers and making sure the bricks and cement arrive when they should. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going. Working in Kolkata has its challenges with the traffic and the rain, but we manage. We aren't a big fancy firm with a lobby or anything. Just some guys working out of an office on Sridhar Roy Road, trying to finish the work we started. It’s practical work. We like it that way even when things get messy.
