Crown Castles Builders is based at 3A Mcleod Street. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while. It’s not a fancy setup. Most mornings, we just gather in the small office, drink some tea, and figure out who is going to which site. Construction is a messy business. There is always dust on the desks and mud on the floor from someone’s boots. We don’t have a big team of sales people. It’s just us and the crews we hire to do the heavy lifting. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery arriving late or a machine breaking down, but we just deal with it and move on. We aren't trying to be the most famous builders in Kolkata. We just want to get the jobs done so we can get paid and go home to our families. If you walk by Mcleod Street, you might see us unloading supplies or arguing over a blueprint. We don't use a lot of big words or talk about visions. We just talk about bricks, cement, and how much longer a wall is going to take to finish. It’s honest work, even if it’s loud and exhausting. We try to be fair with people and stay out of trouble. Our office is a bit of a disaster area with papers everywhere, but that’s because we’re usually too busy working to clean it up properly. It works for us.
