Our office is tucked away in the Golf Gardens area of Kolkata, which is a fairly quiet part of the city compared to the main hubs. We are situated in Utpal Sen Flt 3C of the Abhilasi building, right at 25 2 245 1. It is more of a residential setting than a business park, which suits us just fine because it is peaceful. We have been operating Cpl Deepak Inds Ltd from this location for quite a while. The walk from the main road isn't long, and you pass a lot of old houses and trees on the way. Inside the flat, we have set up our desks and equipment to handle the industrial side of things we deal with. It can get a bit cluttered with all the files and samples, but that is just how we work. Most of the staff has been together for years, so we have a rhythm that doesn't need much explaining. We usually have our lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Kolkata can be a bit slow in the afternoons, especially in the heat, but we stay busy with our orders and paperwork. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually know the way or just ask around the local tea stall. It is a simple life here, just doing our jobs and going home. We don't need fancy offices to get things done.
