CORDAS CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED is the name we use for all the official stuff. Being up here in the Darjeeling district means things work a bit differently than in the big cities. The rain can really slow things down sometimes, and getting materials up the hills takes some planning. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We are just a group of people working together to get building projects finished. Most days you will find us checking on sites or dealing with paperwork at the office. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We don't put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done. We’ve been at this address for some time now and the neighbors know us. It’s a decent spot to work from. We handle all sorts of construction tasks, from the small fixes to bigger projects that take a few months. It's hard work, and our boots usually have mud on them by the end of the day. That’s just the way it goes when you’re building things in this part of West Bengal and we are okay with that.
