Consultant

Located at 79 D Maharani Indira Devi Road in Kolkata, my office is a simple place where I work as a Consultant. It is right in the heart of the 700060 zip code area. I’ve been here for a good while, and the walls are mostly covered with books and files I’ve collected over the years. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel type of office. It has more of an old Kolkata feel to it, with heavy wooden furniture and a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. I spend my hours looking at various projects and helping people figure out their next steps. There is no corporate ladder here, just me and the work. I prefer it that way because I can be direct with people. No need for long meetings that go nowhere. We just sit down, look at the facts, and decide what to do. The road outside can be quite busy with people going about their business, but inside it’s usually quiet enough to think. I don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most people find me because someone else told them I could help. It’s a quiet life of consulting, and I’m quite content with the way things are set up here on Maharani Indira Devi Road. It’s a solid place to work and I plan to stay for as long as people keep knocking on the door. It might be a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s a real working office for real problems. That’s about it for this place.
