Our place is at 4, Krishna Pur Road. We handle a lot of kitchen stuff here at Congas Food Services Equipment. It's mostly big stoves, heavy-duty sinks, and all those things that restaurants need to keep their kitchens running. The office is right there with the storage, so it’s never really quiet. We deal with a lot of stainless steel, and the inventory takes up a lot of room. Sometimes it's hard to move around the stacks of crates and equipment. We’ve been at this Krishna Pur Road location for a while now, and the neighbors know us as the ones always unloading big trucks. It isn't a retail shop where you'd buy a toaster for your house; it’s more for the serious cooking setups. We spend a lot of time talking to chefs and guys who run canteens. They come in looking for something specific, and we try to find it in the back. There are days when the phone doesn't stop ringing and days when it’s just us organizing the spare parts. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out between jobs. It’s a practical business. We focus on the gear and making sure it gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around, but that’s the nature of food service equipment.
