You can find us over on Rakshit Para Road in the Greenpark area of Sarsuna. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a nice part of Kolkata to work in. This is where the Confederation of Indian Industry operates from in this district. The office is located at 13 4 and it’s pretty modest. We don’t have those high-rise views, but we have a solid roof and plenty of work to keep us occupied. Usually, the day starts with the sound of the neighborhood waking up. We settle in with our registers and computers. There’s a lot of back-and-forth with local companies. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out reports. It’s a very hands-on environment. No one here is wearing suits unless there’s a really big meeting. We’re mostly just local people trying to help the industry grow in our own small way. Sarsuna has its own charm, and being tucked away in Greenpark means we don’t get too much of the city noise. We share the space, drink a lot of water when it’s hot, and keep the files moving. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the workday. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy branding. We just do the job that needs doing. It’s a regular office with regular people, just trying to be useful. That is the way we have always done things in this part of town.
