We are set up at Building Number 53B, Flat 2B, in the Sopan Kutir complex. Being on Beleghata Main Road means there is always something going on outside the window. Kolkata 700010 is a busy area, but once you get up to the flat, it’s a bit calmer. Conacent Consulting Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this space for a bit. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy art on the walls. It’s just where we do our consulting. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking on the phone. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a good spot because people can find us easily enough. We handle various bits of business advice and help people figure out their next steps. It’s not flashy, but it’s honest work. Most of us take the bus or walk here. We’ve got a small kitchen area for tea, and that’s about it for extras. The focus is always on the work at hand. We like being part of the Beleghata community. It’s got a real feel to it, not like some of those new office parks they keep building. We plan on staying here at Sopan Kutir as long as the building stays standing. It suits what we do. There is plenty of space for our files and the few desks we need. We just keep our heads down and finish our tasks.
