Cognizant Technology Solutions

Our office is at 212 Kanke Road in Ranchi. Jharkhand is a different kind of place, and we like being here. Cognizant Technology Solutions has been at this address for a while now. Kanke Road is a main stretch, so it’s easy for us to get to work. The building is pretty basic. We occupy a floor where we have all our systems set up. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing. We just wear our regular clothes and sit at our desks. It can get pretty quiet in the office when everyone is concentrating. Then someone makes a joke and we all take a break. We handle various tech projects for people. It is mostly coding and troubleshooting. Ranchi 8 is where we spend our weeks. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and maybe a few old posters. The power backup is important here because of the cuts. We make sure that’s always running. We eat lunch together, usually stuff we brought from home. It’s a simple existence. We don't try to impress anyone with a big lobby or expensive furniture. We just do the work we are paid for and try to enjoy our time. It’s a plain, straightforward way to run a business. We just take things one day at a time.
