You can find us over on the 3rd floor of 3A Bow Street. It’s a fairly old part of Kolkata, and the building reflects that history. Cheviot Apartments Llp has its office here, and it’s a place that feels very grounded. The 3rd floor isn’t too high up, but the stairs can still be a bit of a workout if you’re not used to them. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the sound of fans whirring away. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics like desks, a few printers, and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. Bow Street has a certain energy to it, a bit of a buzz that you can feel even through the windows. We spend our days mostly on administrative tasks, checking through documents and making sure all the numbers add up. It’s not the kind of work that makes headlines, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. We usually have a bit of a chat over tea in the afternoons to break up the day. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we do take the work seriously when things get a bit hectic. There’s no corporate ladder to climb here, just a small group of people working together in a part of the city we’ve grown to like quite a bit. It’s simple, honest work in a plain old office.
