Chanduka Exports Ltd.

Chanduka Exports Ltd. is located right in the heart of the business district at 9 India Exchange Place. You have to take the lift up to the 8th floor and find Room # 6. It is a tall building, and sometimes the wait for the elevator feels like it takes half the morning, especially when everyone is trying to get to their offices at the same time. Our room is quite compact. We have a few desks squeezed in there, and the walls are lined with metal shelves for all our files. Being on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops, but we usually have the blinds drawn to keep the afternoon sun out. India Exchange Place is a very hectic area. There are people rushing around everywhere and the noise from the street below never really stops. We have been working out of Room # 6 for a long time. It is a professional enough spot, but we haven't bothered with any expensive renovations or fancy furniture. We are more concerned with getting the exports cleared and making sure the containers are loaded on time. It is a lot of coordination with agents and checking the daily rates. By the time five o'clock rolls around, the building starts to quiet down a little, but we are usually still finishing up some last-minute emails. It is a solid place to work, even if the building is a bit old and the hallways are dim.
