We have been working out of Sourin Roy Road for a while now. Our office is on the first floor, Flat 1A. It’s a busy spot in Kolkata, especially with the 700034 area code always being active. We handle building projects and construction work across the local neighborhoods. Usually, the day starts early with phone calls from suppliers or guys on the site needing something. It is not a fancy operation. There are piles of blueprints and some old tea cups sitting on the desks most afternoons. We have been registered as Chandrima Builders Private Limited for some years. Dealing with the heat in West Bengal while trying to keep a construction schedule is never easy. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but that is just part of living here. People come by the office to talk about their projects or just to check on how things are moving. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the foundations are right. We don't spend much time on fancy advertising because we are usually too busy at the sites or dealing with the paperwork here in the flat. It gets a bit crowded when the whole team is in, but we manage. We’ve seen the city change a lot from our window. It is just a small local team trying to get the job done properly every day without making too much of a fuss.
