Centex (India) Engineers Private Limited

We are located on the second floor of the Eastern Block at 309 B. B. Ganguly Street. Bowbazar is a busy part of the city, and being right there on the street means there is always noise and movement outside. Centex (India) Engineers Private Limited has been in this building for some time now. Getting up to the second floor is part of the daily workout. The office itself is full of old desks, stacks of drawings, and computers that have seen better days. It’s a real working environment, not some showroom. We spend a lot of time talking over projects and trying to figure out the best way to handle technical issues. Being in Bowbazar is handy because we are close to a lot of other businesses and suppliers. The street outside is usually packed with people and traffic, especially in the middle of the day. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and you'll see someone working at a desk or looking at a blueprint. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files we have to keep, but it works for us. We've got a small crew and everyone knows what their job is. It’s a lot of engineering talk and making sure the numbers add up. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. That's the way it's been for years.
