Ceative Engineering Services

We’re located in Kolkata, over at R. N. Avenue in the Dishani Apartment building. Our office is in B4, which is a regular apartment that we’ve turned into a workspace for Ceative Engineering Services. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the drawing boards, rolls of blueprints, and computer towers we have crammed in there. The building is on a busy street, so you can always hear the trams and the buses going by. We’ve got a balcony where we keep some plants and take our breaks. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess most of the time. There are pens and rulers everywhere, and the coffee table is usually covered in site plans. We aren't the kind of engineers who wear suits; we’re usually in jeans and half-sleeve shirts, trying to figure out a technical problem. The kitchen in the apartment is where we make our tea, and that’s basically our meeting room too. It’s a very informal way of working, but it works for us. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a logo on the door. You just ring the bell for B4 and we’ll let you in. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup where we focus on the engineering side of things and don't worry too much about the aesthetics of the office. We just want to get the drawings right and make sure our clients are satisfied with the details we provide.
