Our office is on the 9th floor of the Landmark Building, which is 9D at 228-A, AJC Bose Road. It’s a big building in a very busy part of the city. We are Case New Holland Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. Being on the 9th floor gives us a decent view of the traffic below, which never seems to stop. This place is mostly where we handle the paperwork and the planning for the big machines. You won't find any excavators or backhoes in the office, of course. Those are all kept at the yards or out on job sites. Here, it’s just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee. We have people coming in and out for meetings all day. The elevators are usually packed during lunch hour. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. It’s a professional environment, but we try to keep it relaxed inside our own doors. We aren't much for fancy slogans or posters. We just focus on getting the equipment where it needs to go. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and it gets a bit loud. We have a small pantry where we chat about our weekends. It’s just a regular office job for most of us, supporting the guys who are out there building things. AJC Bose Road is always a scramble, but we’ve gotten used to the pace. We usually head out by evening.
