We are based on the ground floor of the Dinanta building, which is at 5 BT Road in Panihati. It is a well-known area in Sodepur, so most locals don't have much trouble finding us. We focus on crane services and spare parts, which is a bit of a niche business but it keeps us busy every day. The shop itself is usually a little messy with various metal components and tools scattered around. We don't bother much with making it look like a showroom because that is just not the kind of work we do. It is a family business at heart. My father started it and I have been helping out since I was a teenager. Now we run it together with a small team of workers who know their stuff. BT Road is always packed with vehicles, and sometimes the noise is quite loud, but we have grown to like the energy of the place. We start our day early, usually before the heavy traffic kicks in, to get a head start on the repairs. There isn't any corporate polish here; we are just regular people who know a lot about cranes. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know they can just drop by and have a chat about whatever machine is giving them trouble. We don't do any big advertisements. We just stay here in Panihati and do our work.
