Captique Overseas Private Limited is based in Patuli, specifically in Gandhi Colony. Our address is 3/130. It’s a residential-feeling area in Kolkata, which makes coming to work feel a bit more comfortable than being in a crowded skyscraper. We handle overseas trade, as the name suggests. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of moving items across borders. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don't have a flashy website or a marketing team. It is just us in the office making sure the numbers add up and the cargo is safe. The colony is usually pretty quiet, which helps when we have to focus on the customs paperwork. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know what we do. It’s a small-scale operation, but we stay busy throughout the year. Sometimes we have to deal with delays at the port, which can be stressful, but we just handle it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well and keep our word to the people we work with. It is a straightforward business built on just doing the work every day. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay organized with all the files and folders around the room. Sometimes we have to work late when the time zones are different for our overseas contacts. It's just part of the trade we chose.
