You’ll find us right on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, which most people around here still call Chowringhee anyway. Being at number 12 in Dharmatala means we are right in the middle of all the Kolkata chaos. Capital Chowringhee Pvt Ltd has been operating from this building for a while, and if you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with the street hawkers and the buses. It’s loud, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Our space inside is a bit more quiet, though you can still hear the trams if you listen closely enough. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us doing our daily tasks and handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the elevators in these old buildings are a bit slow or don't work at all, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. We’ve got a few desks, lots of paperwork, and the usual office smells of coffee and old files. Working in Dharmatala is interesting because you see everyone from tourists to office workers every single day. We just try to get through our list of things to do before the evening rush hour hits. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy to look at, but it works for what we do. We’ve been part of this neighborhood long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our afternoon chai. Most days we are just busy with the routine.
