Capgemini

Our office is at 39 Kkmajumder Road in the Jadavpur area of Kolkata. It is a very local part of town, near the 75 postal code area. Capgemini has this location on a street that is usually full of life. You have the sounds of the city right outside the window. Jadavpur is a place with a lot of history and energy, and being on Kkmajumder Road puts us right in the middle of it. The building we are in is quite simple. We do not have any of those shiny glass walls or corporate art. It is mostly just rooms with desks and computers. We walk past the local shops and the people selling snacks on our way in. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood rather than just some big company dropped in from nowhere. The rooms can get a bit warm in the summer, but we just get on with it. We have our tea breaks and talk about the day. It is a very normal, human place to work. There are no scripted greetings or anything like that. We just know each other and do the work that needs doing. If you walk down Kkmajumder Road, you will find us there at number 39. It is just a regular spot for us to be every day. We are just local people working in a local area.
