Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd is located at 6 A Sudder Street in Kolkata, West Bengal. Sudder Street is a very famous part of town, lots of travelers and old buildings around. It has a lot of character, but it can be quite crowded. Our office is right in the middle of all that history. It’s an old building, so it has high ceilings and those thick walls. It’s not a modern glass office at all. We just have our desks set up in the rooms. Sometimes you can hear the tourists and the vendors outside on the street. It makes the day interesting, I guess. We do consulting work here, mostly handling emails and spreadsheets. The fans hum all day to keep us cool because Kolkata gets so hot. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, we just drink chai from the guy around the corner. It’s a very grounded place to work. No one wears fancy suits unless there is a big meeting. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with the business. It’s a bit dusty because of the old construction, but we don't mind it much. We like being in this part of the city because there is always something going on outside the window. It feels like a real part of the community here and we just keep working.
