We spend most of our days here on Vatika Road in Kolkata, right across from the NFL building on Elgin Road. It is a busy spot. Usually, the morning starts with everyone trying to find parking or getting off the bus near the corner. Our office is just a regular place where we handle calls and deal with things related to Canada. It gets a bit loud when the traffic outside picks up, but we have gotten used to the noise by now. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up during our breaks. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we just take the stairs instead. It is not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that, just some desks, computers, and people trying to get through their shift. We have been at this address for a while now. Most of the staff live nearby or take the metro to work. We do not really do big meetings; mostly it is just talking over the monitors or grabbing a quick bite while checking emails. It gets very humid in the summers, but the AC holds up okay for the most part. There is always someone coming in or out with some papers. It is just a normal workplace. We know the neighbors in the building well enough. It is funny how you get used to the same view of the street every day. We do not spend much time on decorations. It is mostly just functional stuff so we can work.
