Calcutta Export Co. is over at No. 18 R. N. Mukergee Road. This part of town is always full of people moving around and cars honking. Our building at No. 18 is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. Inside, the ceilings are high and the hallways are a bit narrow. We’ve got our office set up and we spend most of our time there. It’s not a polished place with glass walls or anything. It’s just a regular office with old wooden desks and fans spinning overhead. We handle the paperwork and talk to whoever we need to. R. N. Mukergee Road is a central spot so there is always something happening right outside. We like being in the middle of it. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break. Otherwise, we are just busy with the daily grind. Calcutta Export Co. has been around this address for a while. We know the neighbors and the shops nearby. It’s a practical location for us. We don't really do much to decorate the place. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Every day is pretty much the same but we don’t mind it. No. 18 R. N. Mukergee Road is just home for the business. We come in, we do the work, and then we head home like everyone else does in this city.
