We’ve been here at 55/48/2, Dr. K. D. Mukherjee Road for a bit. It's a busy part of Kolkata. People know us as Calcutta Amenities Development P Ltd. Most days are just about getting the work done. There's usually a lot of paperwork and talking to folks in the neighborhood. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place to sit and manage the development projects we handle. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the tea guy is a regular visitor. We focus on the amenities part, which sounds big but it's really just about making sure things work for people. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping things moving along this side of town. The 700 060 area has changed a lot since we started. We see new buildings going up and older ones getting repaired. It keeps us occupied. If you walk down the road, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door and a few desks inside. It’s quiet in the mornings before the phones start ringing. Most of us have been here a long time now. We know the routines. We just keep at it, day after day, dealing with whatever comes across the desk. It's steady work and we like the people around here. That's pretty much who we are and what we do. We don't overcomplicate things.
