Burraq Constructions Private Limited is located at 9/1 Ibrahim Road in Kolkata. It’s a specific part of town where everyone knows everyone else. Our office is a modest place where we handle all the construction details. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. You just come in and find one of us working at a desk covered in papers. We spend a lot of our time out on the road visiting different sites and checking on progress. Ibrahim Road is usually pretty busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. We are just regular people who know how to build things. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to our clients. We just explain things simply and get on with the job. Sometimes the work is slow because of supply issues or bad weather, but we don't complain much about it. It’s just how the building trade is. We’ve been at this address for some time and we plan to stay here. We don't have any big mission statements. We just try to finish what we start. Most of our workers are local guys who have been with us for years. It feels more like a family than a big company. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work on the daily schedules.
