BOSE BUILDCON LLP

We operate out of Lee Road, which most people also know as O.C. Ganguly Sarani. It’s a nice enough area and a bit quieter than the main streets. Bose Buildcon is our small firm. We have been working on different building projects for quite a while now. It’s mostly just us and a handful of workers we have known for years. We don’t do any big advertising. Usually, someone knows someone we worked for before and they give us a call. That is how we get most of our work. The office is at number 22. It is a simple setup with a big table for maps and plans. The tea is almost always hot when you walk in. We spend a lot of time discussing costs and how to get things done without wasting any money. Construction is an expensive business, so we have to be very careful with the numbers. We aren't trying to be the largest company in Kolkata. We just want to finish the projects we start. There are always challenges, like finding the right labor or dealing with the heavy rains. You just have to take it one day at a time. Sometimes we stay late at the office to finish a drawing or a budget. It’s not a regular nine-to-five job. If a site has a problem late in the evening, someone has to go and sort it out. That is just part of the life. We like the work though. It’s satisfying.
