We are over here at Upahar Appt in Kolkata. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. We spend our days looking at CVs and talking to people who need work. West Bengal has a lot of talent, so there is always someone coming by or calling us up. It can get pretty noisy when everyone is on the phone at once. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just come in, sit down, and we talk about what kind of job fits your situation. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with some tea. It's a simple setup. We deal with all sorts of industries. Some days are slow, other days the phone won't stop ringing at all. We try to keep our files in order, but the paper pile grows fast every week. Being in Kolkata, you get used to the pace of things. We just want to help people get a paycheck. There isn't any secret formula to it. Just matching names to roles. We have a small team here. Most of us have been around for a few years. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We are in I 70, so it’s easy to find if you know the building. Not much else to say, we just do our jobs and then head home. We just take it as it comes.
