Biskitos Foods Private Limited

Biskitos Foods is located right on Strand Road in the middle of Kolkata. We are up on the sixth floor, in Room 619, which gives us a bit of a view of the busy streets below if you happen to look out the window. Strand Road is always a mess of traffic and people, which is just part of being in this part of the city. We work on food products, and as the name suggests, we have a lot to do with snacks and similar items. It is a Private Limited company, but it doesn't feel like a big corporate office when you walk in. It's mostly just us surrounded by stacks of paper and the occasional box of samples. We spend our days coordinating between the production side and the shops that carry our stuff. It’s a lot of mundane work, like checking expiry dates and making sure the delivery trucks aren’t stuck in traffic somewhere. We aren't trying to pitch ourselves as some revolutionary food tech company. We just make food products and try to sell them at a fair price to whoever needs them. The office can get a bit hot in the afternoons, and the lift in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy page for our history, because we are too busy actually working. It’s just a small team in a crowded building trying to keep the business moving forward every single day.
