Phoenix Commodity Export Pvt. Ltd. operates out of 13- B Bidhan Sarani. We are located in Chanda Plaza, up on the 4th floor. Being on the 4th floor means we get a bit of exercise if the lift is being moody, which happens more often than we’d like. Bidhan Sarani is a very active area, and the plaza is usually buzzing with people. We specialize in commodity exports, so our days are filled with looking at prices and talking to suppliers. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the quantities are right and the quality is what it should be. The office is busy, with a lot of talking and papers being passed around. We don’t have a fancy reception area. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where the work happens. We like it that way because it keeps everyone connected. We deal with the logistics of moving bulk goods, which can be a bit of a headache with all the schedules, but we manage to get it done. Chanda Plaza is a good spot for us because it’s central. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the market downstairs. It’s just a regular group of people working hard to make sure the exports go out without a hitch. We don't have time for fluff; we just focus on the commodities and the shipping dates. That's the way we've done it for years and it works for us.
