You can find us over in New Alipore at 591 Block O. Bhavik Projects Llp has been based in this part of Kolkata for a bit, and it’s a decent area to work in. The street is relatively wide compared to some other parts of the city, which makes getting to the office a little easier in the mornings. Inside, the space is pretty straightforward. We have a few desks, some computers that have been through a lot, and a corner where we keep the site equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find glass walls or modern art. We prefer it this way because it feels more like home. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on the supplies that need to be sent out. Usually, there’s a radio playing softly in the background to keep things from being too quiet. We don't have a formal dress code, so you'll usually see us in whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. The filing system is mostly just piles that make sense to us, even if they look a bit messy to anyone else. We try to keep things moving along without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical way of working that suits the team we have here. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to avoid the midday heat as much as we can while finishing up the paperwork.
