Bharat Shell

We’ve been here on MG Road in Bara Bazar for a good while now. It’s always busy around here, trucks coming and going, people shouting, and the usual Kolkata heat. We handle the Bharat Shell stuff from this office. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workspace with some desks and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We mostly deal with the logistics and making sure things get where they need to go in the city. Dealing with the traffic in Bara Bazar is a job in itself. You learn to just work with the chaos. Most of our days are spent on the phone or checking ledgers. It gets dusty with the windows open, but that’s just how it is on this side of town. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address. People who need us usually know where to find us. It’s a lot of routine. Some days are slower than others. We try to keep things organized even when the street outside is a mess. It’s just us doing what we do every day. Nothing more to it. We keep track of the stock and make sure the orders are right. If you walk past, you might miss us because of all the other shops. We've got our system down though, even if it looks messy to outsiders.
