Bhalla International

Bhalla International is based at 45, Park Street. It’s a famous street, but our office is just a regular room in one of the older buildings. We’ve been here for a long time, and you can see it in the way the floorboards creak when you walk across the room. We deal with international trade, so most of our day is spent on the computer or talking to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the shipping documents are all in order. We don't have any products on display here. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of half-empty tea cups. The windows look out onto the street, and it’s always loud with the sound of horns and people talking. We like being in the middle of everything on Park Street. Bhalla International isn't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know the business inside out. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days we are just trying to get through the pile of emails that came in overnight. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit around and wait for it to come back. It’s a bit old-fashioned in how we operate, but it works for what we do. We don't do any flashy advertising or fancy brochures. People just find us.
